Some time ago a coffee machine which gives vitality to our employees stopped. Coffee container was broken. It would seem easy to replace this part, but in fact it turned out to be a problem, it’s a pretty rare item. And we didn’t want to buy a new coffee machine because of that.
But our programmer’s hobby was our salvation. Alexey “Bers” Bersenev is interested in 3D printing. And not simply interested. He has assembled a real fully working 3D printer with his own hands right at home!
Coffee container was recreated as a 3D model and reconstructed with his printer. Then it took its place inside our coffee machine, and — wonder of wonders — everything works great since then. Also it looks unusual because of color and texture of plastic.
